Each Physical Parameter record defines a MIP variable name, associated with a CF Standard Name. Formerly known as MIP Variables in CMIP6

The sum of the quantities with standard names wood\_debris\_mass\_content\_of\_nitrogen, surface\_litter\_mass\_content\_of\_nitrogen and subsurface\_litter\_mass\_content\_of\_nitrogen is the total nitrogen mass content of dead plant material. |
